Running Your First Quiz Night
Before the Event
Load a preset or build your own rounds. Aim for 8 to 12 questions per round. Mix easy, medium, and hard so every team has a chance. Print the question sheets, answer key, and one score sheet per round. Bring extra pens.
During the Event
Read each question twice. Give teams 60 to 90 seconds per question. Collect answer sheets between rounds and score while the next round plays. The printed score sheet has columns for each round so you can tally as you go.
Common Mistakes
Ambiguous questions cause arguments. Test your questions on a friend before the night. Avoid rounds where one category dominates. If three questions in a row are about football, teams without that knowledge fall behind fast. Balance matters more than difficulty.
Reusing and Remixing
Export your quiz as JSON after each event. Next time, import it and swap out half the questions. Teams that return will notice fresh content. You can also share the JSON file with a co-host so you can split the writing work.
Scoring Tips
One point per correct answer is the simplest system. For harder rounds, try two points. Some hosts give half points for close answers. Whatever you choose, write the scoring rule on the score sheet so teams can follow along.
What to Print
Use the Print button to generate three outputs. The question sheet goes to teams. The answer key stays with the host. The score sheet tracks team totals across all rounds. Each prints on standard paper with clean formatting.

Can I reuse questions from a past quiz?
Yes. Export your quiz as JSON and import it later. Duplicate rounds, swap questions, or mix categories to create a fresh quiz from old material.
What if I have more than 10 teams?
The score sheet supports up to 20 teams. Add team names in the settings and the columns adjust automatically.
Is there a limit on questions per round?
No hard limit, but 8 to 12 questions per round works well. The builder shows a warning if a round has fewer than 5 or more than 20 questions.
Can I share my quiz with a co-host?
Use the Share Link button to encode your quiz into a URL. Send that link and your co-host can open and edit the same quiz.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The layout stacks vertically on smaller screens. All controls are touch-friendly and the print button works from mobile browsers.
